LUCY by BenMauro LUCY by BenMauro
Had the huge pleasure and honor to work with Luc Besson again on his recent film LUCY, helping him visualize a lot of the more cerebral portions of his script. Was fun to work with him early on to develop and visualize the future computers seen at the end and visualize some other really out there ideas, i had Eduardo Pena come on board as well to help out, check out his stuff as well when he posts it! One of the first big projects to come out finally working as an independent directly with the client/director, was fun to go on set, see our names in the credits as ourselves and be able to post our work with no hassle...... amazing.

You can see more stuff i did for LUCY on my site.

"More cerebral" portions, that's a fun sounding description :) That is some really nice composition, you're great to learn from.

Very cool, it's amazing how many people got mad at the premise for Lucy. Everyone not getting "capacity", everyone was like "we use our whole brain, not just 10%!, this myth is so blah blah blah..." I was like it's not about that, it's about the capacity, just because most is being used doesn't mean it can't process more, more efficiently, more commands, higher load. So I get it, lol I'm trying to help spread the word. Haven't seen Lucy yet but I think we are capable of soo much more, I'm all for movies that explore that, that show possibilities and what-ifs.
