In-Class demo from this week. Painting up the final 'gorilla robot' in a clean version more like a Bradley tank also did a quick digital camo variant but maybe i will post that later. Probably a bit overkill from an illustration/focal point standpoint but the main purpose is just to showcase the model/design in an environment.... will get to some more fun illustrated stuff soon.
Love this so much. Great design.
It does have a very gorilla-like feel.
May I model this and use it in a game? With you permission of course.
These look like the things that are gonna be in the next Call of Duty.
Wow, this is brilliant! This looks quite plausible.
Good doge !
Very clever realistic look if unrealistic idea since a "mech" device would do the one thing you should never do on a battlefield ....stand up.
You and StTheo should make a collaboration! Your artwork style of Mechanical artwork is similar, i would be scared to see some awesome work between you two!
Cool I can really see the gorilla in this machine
Metal Gear Simian
Metal Gear Simian
Now whenever anyone misspells guerilla warfare I can show them this.
If I worked for DARPA or even kojima I'd try to build this, but with flower camo. Tulips. Or Carnations!
this is beautiful
Cool, I like the form, quite obvious its inspiration.
That is just too amazing!
this is really cool /a great close support
that is a fantastic design
The first words to come out of my mouth were "That would be fucking awesome!". Sorry about the profanity, but I would so love to see something like that...however, I would not want to be on the receiving end of what it could do...
LOL Gorilla Warfare
good work ~~
Wow! You captured the stature of a Gorilla perfectly.
I really need to photo bashing more often, seeing the amount you did it here for small details makes me want to use it more often
Yeah saves lot of time, use 3D as a good base to enhance with photos/painting. Not interested in investing that much time into 3D at the moment, someday maybe.
Never seen a Walker tank like this, good concept.
Hmmmm "No step".... EXACTLY HOW IN THE HELL IS SOMEONE GOING TO ACCIDENTALLY STEP ON SOMETHING THAT'S 12 FEET BLOODY TALL!!!
In transit/repair mode it would be all folded up and compact on the ground so its logical place to put it. People need to maintain and service the machine etc so adding a warning there makes sense to avoid damaging optics or other more sensitive parts located near the head area.
Really gorilla shape there
Now, I miss zoids.
That looks epic!
It's probably a slow, yet heavily armored heavy tank!
nice robot. if it weren't for the large, blocky head, I'm sure it would be perfect for jungle camouflage.
Very nice artwork, love it
naaaaice, really awesome, thanks!
interesting idea.... and really well done art!
Sir, you are, kicking ass. That is all.
awesome job bro!
Western robot design is going through something of a renaissance, don't you think?
Very nice and so much detail!
Metal Gear Gorilla Tank! Get it? It kinda looks like something that would be from MGS.
